Half an hour’s drive from downtown Dongguan and Guangzhou, the Dongguan Machong Logistics Park is in the “golden hinterland” of the Pearl river delta in Guangdong province: the town of Machong, west Dongguan. Dongguan Machong is in northeast of town, beside the main Machong Avenue thoroughfare and one kilometer from the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao expressway (formerly the G4 Beijing-Zhuhai expressway). One of the town’s unique geographical advantages is that the project is four kilometers from the Shenyang-Haikou expressway, a road that extends and connects outward in all directions.
Through market reform, Machong has grown to become one of the fastest-developing economies in the fast-developing city of Dongguan, especially in the 2000s. Demand for industrial storage facilities increases through continuous development and expansion of manufacturing. Machong’s highway network and ports make it a magnet for foreign investment. With high-quality facilities and an excellent location, Dongguan Machong has already been targeted by large companies seeking South China logistics property. The 30-acre (185 Chinese mu) project consists of two double-story and two single-story warehouses with a gross floor area of 85,076 square meters. The project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2013.
Convenient Transportation Network
Dongguan Machong Logistics Park has convenient access to the ports of Xinsha and Humen, the largest in South China. Through the Guangzhou-Shenzhen and Yanjiang expressways, the park is at the center of the Pearl river delta area economy. Dongguan Machong links to five major airports: Guangzhou and Shenzhen are a 45-minute drive; Hong Kong, Macao and Zhuhai airports are 90 minutes’ drive away.
