Driving into Beijing or Tianjin takes about 40 minutes from Langfang Logistics Park. The park is at the heart of the Beijing-Tianjin science and technology corridor. Dubbing itself “the pearl of Beijing and Tianjin”, this regional strategic project is known for concentrating newly emerged modern industries and ameliorating population pressure. Located in the Langfang economic and technology development zone, Langfang is one kilometer from the Beijing outer city limits and close to the G104 national road. It is six kilometers from the Beijing-Tianjin expressway Caiyu exit.
Langfang Logistics Park is in the Langfang economic and technology development zone. The development strategy for the zone focuses on its services industry, targeting the Beijing and Tianjin markets by supplementing the Beijing and Tianjin logistics industries. Other than meeting warehousing, distribution and other logistics needs, the park’s owners are seeking to raise distribution and logistics service quality and improve the processing, import and export of commodities and value-added activities. Aiming to become a regional logistics hub, Langfang benefits from its location and high standard of facilities. The park has become a prime target for top companies building their logistics properties. Scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2013, the 105,562.90-square-meter park is composed of four single-story warehouses with a gross floor area of 69,950.71 square meters.
Convenient Transportation Network
Within a radius of 100 kilometers, the park has more than 10 expressways including the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu, Beijing-Shenyang, Beijing-Kaifeng, Beijing-Harbin, Beijing-Zhuhai, Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Zhangjiakou, Beijing-Chengde, Tianjin-Baoding, Tianjin-Jixian, as well as the Beijing fourth, fifth and sixth ring road expressways. There are five national railway routes (Datong-Qinhuangdao, Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Kowloon, Tianjin-Baoding), two international airports (Beijing Capital International Airport and Tianjin Binhai International Airport) and a large port (Tianjin) near Langfang. Under development or in planning are a second Beijing airport, a Beijing seventh ring road expressway, the Miyun-Zhuozhou expressway, the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu second expressway and Jinghu high-speed railway.
